Birthdays and Bedrest

I'll start with the bad news: bedrest. Hospital bedrest no less. I'm blogging on Ryan's laptop from my lovely hospital room, my new home for the next 7 weeks or so. Apparently my babies didn't get the memo about their due date and I am already dilated 1.5 cm at 27 weeks. So I am waiting it out here where they can give me all kinds of good drugs to prevent me from going into labor too soon. Call my cell phone. Visit me. Please.

Enough of the bad news, I'm trying really hard to focus on the positive right now. So, Carver had his first birthday and started walking in the same week just about. In the blink of an eye he is our big boy. Check out the cute photoshoot my friend Kelly did with him. He may look a little scrawny in the pictures because he is getting over a little cold, but don't let that fool you this kid can eat! I'll post more pics of the party and a better update on Carver later.

Thanks Kelly, they turned out great!

I'm glad you can still update the blog. Carver is beautiful. Happy Birthday, big boy. Let me know if I can help in any way.
Love, Robyn

Those pictures are so cute!!! He is such a cute little boy! What do you do with the kids while you are on bed rest?

Too bad we aren't closer. We could help babysit the kids or something. Good luck with the bedrest, I am sure that isn't the most fun thing to do!

I think he might be the cutest boy ever! Seriously I wanna kiss his checks until he gets angry! Why don't you ship him to me until the twins are a couple months old, I will take him!

I'm so sorry you are stuck on bed rest! Email me your cell phone number or call me. Do you have t-mobile? If you do, we can talk for free. I just got a phone. And, the pictures of Carver are ADORABLE!

Carrie - I am SO SORRY that you have had to move to the hospital. Being on bedrest at home is bad enough. Our entire ward has you in our prayers. Those little babies are too excited to join your adorable family. The pictures of Carver are adorable! He isn't looking scrawny at all. Hang in there!!

It's too bad about bedrest, but as long as the babies and you are safe, that is all that matters. Carver's pictures turned out really great. Tell Ryan I said, "hello".
