We headed to the beach for every holiday when I was a kid in California, but here in DFW, we don't have that luxury. But we try to work with what we've got! We headed to Lake Grapevine for Labor Day this year and Uncle Stephen, Aunt Afton, Brookise & Zoey, Uncle Chris, Geneva, & girls met us there.

Normally I don't put my girls in 2 piece swimsuits, but we grabbed the hand-me-down swimsuits to head to the lake. Don't they look so cute with their perfectly round little bellies...
We are so lucky to have cousins that live close by, so we'll take that over a trip to the beach any holiday!
