Dear Santa...

Our ward Christmas party was Friday night and it was lots of fun. We've been trying to prepare Kaydree for Sunbeams a little bit (since she'll be going in in January) so she loved watching the primary kids do their Christmas program and she kept saying, "Next year I can do that." Of course her favorite part of the evening was when she got to see Santa and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. She never stops talking about the Barbie with pink sparkling wings that she wants, but her new thing is that she really wants new food for her play kitchen. Being as shy as she is with strangers, especially Santa Claus, she couldn't exactly articulate what she wanted for Christmas. The first part came out so quickly that I don't think Santa really caught it, "I want pink wings with a Barbie..." and then for the next part she slowed down a bit and it came out really clearly, "and I really want some food!" So you can imagine the look that I get from Santa when all my kid asks for for Christmas is FOOD.

That made me laugh out loud, and laughing hurts my throat! It was worth it though. How funny. I remember when Brielle just asked for one thing and a cheap thing! Now it is a power wheel, those things r jokin $250!

Hey Carrie. I saw your blog link on Emily's blog so I thought I'd stop by. That is a very funny story; asking Santa for food, Classic!!
