Ryan has been on the road again with work. He spent his 1st week away in Little Rock as I braved it alone at home with the 4 crazies. As he was leaving I told him "have a good vacation, I mean a good week working"...my bad, freudian slip. In all honesty I do pretty well by myself with the kids until the dreaded hour of 5:00 pm, when it doesn't matter how happy everyone was, how occupied they may be, or whatever else might be going on - all HECK breaks loose (and that's an understatement). Regardless, the first week went pretty well here, and Ryan even got to go to dinner with his cousin Meghan in Arkansas, so things went pretty well on his end too. On to week 2...I knew I could survive 1 week as a single parent but 2 in a row would be testing my limits. Plus, with Ryan's early morning Sunday flight the only way I would be able to even go to church would be to head to my parent's place. So Ryan was off to Virginia and we were off to Nana's! My kids just love going to Nana's and here's why...
Piggy back rides
Chillin' with Uncle J
All the dress-ups a girl could want...
Plenty of books to read (this was pretty funny, Kaydree was caught reading the phone book to the babies. She had a whole story line going and everything).
The DOG: Carver is a permanent fixture at this window, he LOVES Jax!
He even calls out "Jaa, 'ere are you??"
Mani's and Pedi's
We even went to a pool party at the Wallace's this time. Carver was loving that they had a dog just his size!

Ryan is back now and things are pretty much back to normal. But we sure are glad to have an escape route should we need one in the future.
