He works HARD for the $money$

I was feeling pretty sorry for Ryan.  He had to work in Brussels last week and was stuck in some mad traffic.  Apparently the train workers in Belgium were on strike, causing major delays on the road.  It took him 4 1/2 hours to drive what normally would take 1 1/2 hours one morning, that's enough to drive a man crazy!  Then I learned that on the way home on Friday, he stopped in Antwerp and strolled around, took in some sites, leisurely ate a Belgian waffle, and bought Ava some Belgian chocolate per her request.  Must be nice, right?  Here are the photos I bootlegged from his phone:

 These are chocolate sculptures…mmm...

I also found this pic, which I thought was pretty funny...
So, the moral of this story is: if you are going to sneak off and do some sight seeing alone without your wife and family, don't leave photo evidence behind.

Here are some more pictures of our weekend.  We went to a birthday party for the kids in The Hague.  Our friend's place had the most amazing roof top views, so we snapped some more pics of course…

Life is good in the Netherlands.

I am loving following your adventures there! I only wish we were there with you. :) I loved seeing Ryan's OSU shirt that he wore on his birthday--always a buckeye!
