Nerja

Once upon a time, on the coast of sunny Spain, there was a little resort town called Nerja.  Nerja had just the right amount of coastline, sunshine, shopping, and people.  For a fun-loving, beach-going, sun-deprived family living in the Netherlands, Nerja made the perfect vacation spot for one full week of carefree fun...
And so this family rented a beach house…this one, to be exact (for the house hunters international enthusiasts among you) and took a short stroll to the beach every single day.
They worked on their tans...
Got sand in their sandwiches...
and explored the wonders of the beach day in and day out...
He found a Starfish - a proud moment for Carv!
Some sort of sea slug discovered by K…fascinating for Carv apparently!
They brushed up on their paddle ball...
Played in the sand...
and rented the most amazing paddle-boat for even more fun in the sun...
One day the family left the little girls to splash back at the beach house with their Nana…
while the older children set off with their parents to explore the Nerja caves, and the largest stalagmite column in the world...
This family also ate good food, including but not limited to gelato...
 fresh seafood...
 smores…
and of course paella, LOTS of paella...
Yes, a week in Nerja turned out to be just what this family needed to gear up for the fast & furious European travel ahead of them...
And they lived happily ever after.  The end.
