Ryan had big plans to take a road trip to Switzerland with his parents. As it was approaching, he was still crazy busy with work and hadn't yet made any plans or booked any hotels. I was doubtful that they would go anywhere. Sure enough, Ryan wasn't able to take time off for a trip. Robyn and Robert took a few day trips, but mostly just hung out around the house with me and the kids. Then on a whim, we decided to take the kids to Paris for the weekend and spend one day at Disney. It was an awesome day...

First trip to Disney!

I snapped this picture on my phone in the changing room. I spent a lot of time nursing and changing B in the parent's station. I was just happy they had an area I could go and sit. It was pretty chilly outside.
It was all decked out for Spring!
The day didn't get off to a great start. We got an absolute steal on our tickets, but apparently a lot of locals were there on that weekend too. We ended up having to wait in 2 huge lines before we could even get in and pickup our tickets. We tried to make the most of the rest of the day.

They had a Welsh Festival in one area of the park, so we had a little downtime there listening to music and getting faces painted.

Who wouldn't LOVE to go to the happiest place on Earth with their Grandma & Grandpa?
|
We LOVE Disney parades!
Over at Disney Studios, we missed Crush's coaster when we were here in the fall. It's one of the newer rides here, and the kids were totally fine with waiting in line so they could ride it this time. I waited with Bennett while the crew stood in a realllllly long line...
Here are some fun shots of Grandma & Grandpa on Crush's coaster with the kids...
After they were done, I was able to do the rider swap and wait in a much shorter line so I could ride while they waited with Bennett. It was a really fun ride!

Time for the light show and fireworks!

Everyone had an AWESOME day!
The next day was Sunday, so we decided to head out to the temple grounds and check out the progress. I can't wait to see the finished product...
Then we headed into the city to walk around Jardin du Luxembourg...
It was the first beautiful Spring day that they had in Paris, so all the locals were out soaking up the sunshine in the gardens...

Such a cute couple!
Back in Amsterdam, we took a day to see the Rijksmuseum. We actually did this before Bennett's blessing while my mom was still here. The Rijks is on par with the Louvre - there is SO much to see there, it can be a little overwhelming.

The whole fam outside the Rijksmuseum.

Kaydree loved this violin done in Delft blauw.

This is my kind of library!
Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for another fun trip! Tot ziens!
