Brent's BYU-I Bonanza

The day after I got back from Utah, Bryan, my parents, the girls and I all headed to Brent's college graduation in Idaho. We were all going to fly up together, but we decided in a round about way to make a road trip out of it. This next picture pretty much sums up my whole experience...
I had my hands full!
We decided to drive across New Mexico and up through Price, Monticello, etc. Other than the fact that it was a pretty drive, I was so glad we didn't go up through Colorado since it was SNOWING in April!
Monticello Temple
Since we drove straight through the night, we stayed at my grandparent's place in Utah, then drove the rest of the way to Idaho the next day. Our attempt at a 4 generations picture, Ava wasn't into the idea...
The girls were SO excited to get to Idaho and play with Jackson. After all that time in the car, they were ready to party! Jackson showed Ava and Elsie how things were run at his place. He has his very own setup, complete with DVD player and snacks, so we could watch movies on the big TV.
Merilee stopped by Brent and Janeen's for a quick visit. Robyn and Robert were out of town (I think in Omaha) when we were there, so me, Bryan, and the girls stayed at their house in Idaho Falls all by ourselves. It was nice and way better than trying to duke it out for a hotel room in Rexburg with all the other out-of-towners there for graduation.
Grad night, couldn't have done it without reinforcements...
NormalNot so normal
Inside the fancy new BYU-Idaho Center that I refer to as the "Conference Center Jr."...yep, it's that fancy...
Janeen and me with our matchy boots...
The fam (minus twins)...Merilee was nice enough to babysit for the main commencement
We are so proud of Brent and Janeen and their perseverance. We all pitched in and bought him a new suit to wear now that he is an official businessman. We are so excited to see where life will take their little family next!
