My old college roomies had the idea for a fun girls weekend in SLC, so Emily flew in from California, Tiff drove down from Idaho, and (thanks to Ry's frequent flier miles) I flew up from Texas. We spent the weekend just like we did in our Rexburg days:
Eating good food
and LAUGHING

These gals are the best, I'm so glad we're all still friends!
I also got together with my college friend Angie...we probably wouldn't have graduated without each others help in our last 2 yrs of classes. She was the best study-buddy. She also predicted that I would marry Ryan after our first date...pretty crazy!
No, a trip to Utah would not be complete without hanging out at the Stefan house with my 10 cousins (okay, so not all of them live there anymore, but pretty close). Here's my cuz Eric with his pretty little girl Sophia.
My little cousin Ryan shares a birthday with me. He was so cool to organize everything so we had the right candles and everyone gathered up together (not an easy task at that house full of people)...
My "big brothas" Uncle Kenny and Chris
My Uncle Kenny is more of a big brother to us than an uncle (I think he was only 10 when Chris was born). He happened to be in town too, and Chris had come up on the same weekend as me. It was cool to have an impromptu family reunion.I spent the rest of my trip with my cousin Kristin and her family. We went to Olive Garden (a fam favorite for those Stefans), and treated ourselves to pedicures.

I definitely felt SPOILED on my birthday this year. I haven't traveled kid-free in a LONG time, so it was kind of fun to have a little break and take some time for myself. I feel so lucky to have a sweet husband who was excited to have some Dad-time with the kids (instead of feeling like he was doing me a favor or something like I think some dad's would feel). But after a few days away, I was ready to get home to these cute little crazies and give them some treats...
