One of my friends kept telling me that Bath was her absolute favorite in England. With so much to see in London, the Cotswolds, York, and beyond, I wondered what the big draw of Bath is. She tried explaining to me that there is no big draw or big sites, it's just awesome to walk around and take it all in. That's just what we did. First we had a photo shoot at the Royal Crescent. It's the perfect backdrop, after all...

Bath is the setting for the Jane Austen novel Persuasion. If you ever watch the movie, Bath will look very familiar to you.We went for a stroll in the market hall, picked up a variety of snacks, and made a picnic right here along the river.
This little waterfall was hard to capture on camera, but was awesome to watch as we ate our lunch.
Next, we headed to the age old Roman Baths. For centuries, people have traveled to Bath to soak in the healing waters. The Romans built a temple and bathing complex here that makes for a fun little tour...
I think we had the most fun just roaming around the streets of Bath, window shopping and people watching.
It was nice to have a slow paced, laid back day here in the midst of our whirlwind trip.
