Fall break is one of our favorite times to travel - maybe the best. The weather is nice, the crowds are few, and the prices are right. But when you're 36 weeks pregnant, you better think long and hard about where and for how long you want to be waddling around. We knew we didn't want to drive too far, so our options were pretty limited. I thought Disney would be perfect - we could stay at one of the Disney hotels and take the shuttle back during the day when I needed a nap. We found a pretty good deal online and went ahead and booked the trip.
Fast forward to our trip - Disneyland is pretty go, go, go. Do you think I ever headed back for a nap? Nope. I didn't want to miss a thing. After Day 1 I thought I was going to go into labor any second. Plus, I couldn't ride any rides. Seriously, they were pretty strict about it. It's a small world was really the only ride I could ride. I quickly became the fast pass runner. I stood in lines to buy snacks and meals, ran kids to and from the bathroom, and saved spots for parades. It was a pretty good gig for my fam, and actually I didn't mind it too much except for the sheer exhaustion. Just being at Disney will put a smile on your face. My one major complaint - they allow smoking at Euro-Disney. Smoke in my face all day is not my idea of a good time. While it seems pretty archaic to permit smoking at Disneyland, from a capitalist perspective we could understand why. I don't think any locals would go if they didn't allow smoking - they probably couldn't make it that long without cigarettes. All things considered, we all had a magical time and I'm glad we pulled the trigger on these plans. Just take a look at these faces...

| Day 1 - I was dressed all Disney-chic. By Day 3 - I pulled out the yoga pants and my hoodie. That is what exhaustion does to maternity fashion. |
