I am posting from Ryan's laptop because about 2 weeks ago my computer crashed. This was just a few days before the air conditioner went out in my car! Great, my only two contacts with the outside world, my computer and my car, both break at the same time. Of course all of this is happening in the midst of me frantically trying to prepare my Relief Society lesson, and the end of the quarter at work for Ryan which means ridiculous hours for him and no adult conversation for me. Everything likes to get crazy all at once for me, it always happens this way. But I can finally breathe a sigh of relief (sort of) since we have almost picked up all the pieces. My lesson is over and done with, the part finally came in for my car and that got fixed today, and come Wednesday they'll file their statements at work and Ryan will be a normal person again. As for my computer, thanks to our friend Tomas (an amazing computer fix it guy) all of my pictures were recovered - a good thing since I haven't backed them up in about 2 years, and we should have our computer up and running soon. I know a post is no fun without pictures, but it would be a big hassle to get them onto the laptop, etc. so I'll just post a bunch when I get my computer back.
In the mean time, here are some funny Kaydree-isms:
The other day, Kaydree found a freckle on her arm and said "Look Mommy, I have a SPARKLE just like you!"
Ever since Carver came, Kaydree is always saying "When I was a baby..." yada yada. Well, she was whining at me the other day and I gave her this big explanation about how she's a big girl now and she needs to use her words and talk like I talk instead of whining. She got really quiet and said, "Well when YOU were a baby, then I was the Mommy, and I just say all that stuff to YOU."
My mom came up yesterday to take us to the cannery and Kaydree told her "Did you know we are going on a date with you Nana?"
And of course, it's always hillarious when she comes running up to Carver and says "Hi SON!"
At least when things go wrong, they never stay bad because I can always count on my kids for a good laugh!

Wow, when it rains it DOES pour!! I'm so sorry! But I'm glad things are getting back to normal finally. Glad you had some fun entertainment from Kaydree to keep things real. :)
Hey, that's so cute when Kaydree says "When I was a baby..." Cameron says that too, but he also says "When I was ten years old" or other ages that he has not yet passed. Kids say the darnedest things!
