In between all the Fall holidays and events, we had some regular ole days mixed in...
| My prego snacking staples - rice cakes, cookie butter, & hagelslag (chocolate sprinkles) - every.single.day. I figure the low cal rice cakes balance out the high cal sweet stuff. |
| Furniture shopping is the WORST! I love window shopping, but when you are actually going to spend real cash on furniture, you have to be SURE that's what you want. I can be a little fickle at times. We really needed to commit to a few new things for our new place before the baby came though, so I dragged the whole fam out with me to help me decide on some things. Ryan and the kids LOVED it. |
| The hardest choice was a new sideboard & hutch for my beautiful Polish pottery. I finally settled on this one and I love it! |
| We had SOOOOO many nice weather days. We hit up all our favorite after school spots. |
| We had a fun lunch with Aaron & Andrea who were traveling from Florida (Ry's cousins). We met them in Amsterdam and only wished we had some more time to travel together. |
| I kept telling Ryan about this meat truck that I would see on our shopping street. He really thought I was making this up until one day I finally got photo evidence! So this meat truck randomly pulls up and stops right in the middle of a busy shopping street, hoards of people come out of nowhere, and a guy covered in blood starts cutting meat off of these huge slabs hanging in an unrefridgerated truck. He takes some cash, tosses the meat in a bag, and the people scurry away. |
| This CANNOT be sanitary! |
| General Conference and our special brunch |
| Poor little Elsie girl spent a whopping 4 days in the hospital this fall. Her Asthma flared up and her oxygen levels were too low to go home. Luckily, Ryan can work from anywhere with his trusty laptop, so he plugged in some time at the hospital while I ran the show at home and came to and from the hospital as well. It was a pretty stressful time, but we made it through. |
Also of note, we are counting down the days until our new little guy joins the family!
