Our dynamic duo is 6 years old! These 2 had big plans for their birthday. First off, they carefully selected their outfits and party bags for school. They both love being the center of attention!

We surprised Elsie & Ava with lots of fun gifts for their birthday. It sometimes seems that they get double presents, because one girl will be just as interested at the gift her sister is receiving as her own gift. They are still awesome at sharing - and I SO hope this trend continues as they grow.
One of their gifts was a huge Playmobile Castle and accessories (given to us by Leoni & Benttina, our very generous German friends). It took me probably 5 hours to assemble the entire thing. Just thought I would add that little tidbit to the pile of 6th birthday memories.
The girls requested ice cream sundaes instead of cake...
Later, we celebrated their birthday by spending the day at Plaswijk Park together.
