Next stop - Slovenia. We started out by attending sacrament meeting in Ljubliana. The ward was a small one, but they had a few newly baptized members who gave really good talks. Of course, it's always nice to visit with the American missionaries. Ryan met a senior couple who were from Idaho and (not surprisingly) they knew someone in common (thompsons maybe? can't remember).
After church, we headed into the city for some sightseeing. It wasn't a huge city with a lot to see, but I kind of like that it wasn't overwhelming. They had some really interesting architecture. It seemed that almost everyone who was out and about was local, no tourists.

| Enjoying some of the best food of the trip - Cevapcici and more! |
Brave Ryan has no problem filling up at the local water spouts (or as my brit-speaking kiddos call all water faucets - "the tap")
| Behind Carver are the 3 bridges overlooking the main square. |
| When we got to this point of our stroll along the river, we saw a distinct shift from the more developed high traffic area to what looked like very rundown houses and the blue collar area. |
| The 3 bridges - this is the main hangout in laid-back Ljubljana |
| This is just inside a super fancy department store off of the main square. |
We capped off our day with some locally made gelato. Like our lunch, and the rest of Ljubljana for that matter, it did not disappoint.
